April: 157 press releases published by Environmental Protection Agency

There were 157 press releases published by the Environmental Protection Agency in April.

The most recent press release, "EPA Announces $5 Million in Grants Available for Tribes and Insular Areas to Replace Diesel Equipment and Reduce Harmful Emissions," was submitted on April 30.

The Environmental Protection Agency published 110 the month before, marking a 42.7 percent increase for the current month.

More than half of the Agency's employees are engineers, scientists and protection specialists. The Climate Reality Project, a global climate activist organization, accused Agency leadership in the last five years of undermining its main mission.

The EPA's budget increased by 18 percent in fiscal year 2022.
