“Senate Committee Meetings” mentioning the Environmental Protection Agency was published in the Daily Digest section on pages D106 on Feb. 9.
More than half of the Agency's employees are engineers, scientists and protection specialists. The Climate Reality Project, a global climate activist organization, accused Agency leadership in the last five years of undermining its main mission.

Committee on Environment and Public Works: Committee ordered favorably reported the nomination of Michael Stanley Regan, of North Carolina, to be Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency; and an original resolution authorizing expenditures by the committee and adopted its rules of procedure for the 117th Congress.
NOMINATION
Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs: Committee concluded a hearing to examine the nomination of Neera Tanden, of Massachusetts, to be Director of the Office of Management and Budget, after the nominee, who was introduced by Senators Klobuchar and Booker, testified and answered questions in her own behalf.
