At the request of Mr. Smith of New Hampshire, the name of the Senator from Oregon (Mr. Wyden) was added as a cosponsor of S. 2725, a bill to provide for a system of sanctuaries for chimpanzees that have been designated as being no longer needed in research conducted or supported by the Public Health Service, and for other purposes.

At the request of Mr. Craig, the name of the Senator from Oregon (Mr. Wyden) was added as a cosponsor of S. 3222, a bill to require the Secretary of the Interior to establish a program to provide assistance through States to eligible weed management entities to control or eradicate harmful, nonnative weeds on public and private land.
