IDAHO DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY: DEQ seeks comment on revised air quality monitoring network plan

Idaho Department of Environmental Quality issued the following announcement on Sept. 16.

The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) is seeking comment on the revised Annual Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Network Plan.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency requested that DEQ revise the plan to include additional supporting information regarding PM2.5 monitoring in the Logan UT-ID Metropolitan Statistical Area. This information is found under Section 5.2, beginning with the second paragraph on page 18 and ending with the paragraph on the same page above the “2020 Modifications” sub-heading.

DEQ is seeking comment on the plan revisions, which include the aforementioned section and its associated references in Appendix C.

The revised plan is available for review at DEQ’s State Office by appointment only (1410 N. Hilton, Boise) and on DEQ’s website (download at right).

Written comments will be accepted through October 16 at 5 p.m. MST. Submit comments electronically on DEQ’s Public Comment Opportunities page or by mail, email, or fax:
