Idaho Department of Environmental Quality issued the following announcement on March 19.
The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) awards $30,000 in drinking water construction assistance to the Arrowhead Ranch Water Company, LLC, in Bonner County
The funding will be used to install point-of-use appurtenances for 12 service connections. The point-of-use devices are being installed to treat high uranium levels.
The assistance from DEQ’s State Revolving Loan Fund, which is capitalized annually by grants from the Environmental Protection Agency, provides this funding with no repayment obligation. The favorable loan terms represent a $41,752 savings to the community when compared to average costs for municipal general obligation debt issuances.
