Idaho Department of Environmental Quality issued the following announcement on Feb. 3.
The West Silver Valley Citizens Advisory Committee will meet on February 10, 2020, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Pinehurst City Hall, 106 North Division St.
The committee will discuss the status of West Silver Valley nonattainment area.
The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) is proposing to request that the U.S. EPA redesignate the area to attainment. The West Silver Valley PM2.5 Nonattainment Area Redesignation Request and Maintenance Plan is currently open for public comment and DEQ staff will be available to answer questions about the plan or redesignation process.
