American Farm Bureau Federation issued the following announcement on July 30.

Color My Farm Mural – add your creative genius to a 16’ x 5’ rural farm mural
Daily Pig Races – root on your favorite pigs twice daily at 11:00 a.m. Central and 2:30 p.m. Central
Kids’ Pedal Pull – cheer on the kids at 1:00 p.m. Central
Kids’ Yoga – kids will learn about health benefits and basic skills
The Farm Safety 4 Just Kids Booth inside the Farm Bureau Financial Services Rural Lifestyle Pavilion focuses on free safety games and demonstrations including:
Pinch Points (chains and belts)
Tractor and Auger Safety
Wheel of Misfortune (machinery safety including lawn mowers)
Plinko Farm Safety Trivia
Bridged Grain, Tug of War with Grain and Gravity Wagon Safety
Chemical Safety
911 Simulator
Youth will receive a punch card to ensure they play all the games and a prize upon completion.
The Quick, Clean, Fresh Cooking Demo will be presented on Tuesday, Aug. 7, and Thursday, Aug. 9, at 11:30 a.m. Central. The Food Preservation Tips, Techniques and Benefits session on Wednesday, Aug. 8, at 11:30 a.m. Central also will provide learning opportunities for visitors.
