TCEQ releases draft commissioners’ agenda for March 3

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) recently released a preliminary draft version of the commissioners’ agenda for March 3.

The final agenda will be available by Feb. 24.

The meeting will cover 48 items in the following categories: hearing requests and requests for reconsideration, miscellaneous matter, air quality enforcement agreed orders, industrial and/or hazardous waste enforcement agreed orders, multi-media matter enforcement agreed order, municipal solid waste enforcement default orders, municipal waste discharge enforcement agreed orders, petroleum storage tank enforcement agreed orders, public water system enforcement agreed orders, water quality enforcement agreed orders, rule matters, state implementation plan matters, a public comment period for any open matters, and executive meetings on the commission’s Executive Director and General Counsel, any litigation against the commission and their duties, roles and responsibilities.

Meeting registration will be from 8:45 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., and all parties wishing to comment must register within that time frame. The TCEQ will stream the meeting online at its website, where it will be available in archived format after the meeting’s completion. All documents related to the items being discussed on March 3, barring oversized documents like large maps, are now available online and at the Office of the Chief Clerk in Austin.
