EPA Region 7 partners with Donnelly College for research and teaching initiatives
Donnelly College has a record of working towards more Hispanic representation in fields like science, mathematics, information technologies and engineering.
The agreement details how the EPA and Donnelly College will cooperate on: joint research projects, faculty research participation, adjunct faculty appointments, student internships and employment at Region 7, technical assistance, equipment, an outreach program, grant opportunities, environmental student initiatives and mini-courses, lectures and seminar speakers.
“With this agreement as our framework, EPA Region 7 looks forward to building an effective and cooperative working relationship with Donnelly,” said EPA Acting Regional Administrator Mark Hague, who signed the agreement with Donnelly President Monsignor Stuart Swetland. “The school has noted teaching and research programs. Combining our efforts will create a wealth of new knowledge and practices that will benefit both our communities and the people we serve here in the Heartland. EPA Region 7 is fortunate to have Donnelly as our partner.”
