Syngenta gains EPA registration for new fungicide
Syngenta’s Solatenol fungicide boasts longer-lasting residual control and flexibility in its application in terms of timing and tank-mix compatibility. It can be used to control of diseases and pathogens like rusts, Septoria, leaf spots, Southern stem rot, apple scab, powdery mildew, early blight and Rhizoctonia, among others.
It will be marketed as Trivapro fungicide for corn, soybeans and wheat, as Aprovia fungicide for apples, grapes and pears, as Aprovia Top fungicide for vegetables and as Elatus fungicide for peanuts and potatoes.
"Growers can expect a step change in disease control from all the products containing Solatenol, with the added benefit of crop enhancement in the row crop market," Syngenta Fungicides Product Marketing Lead Steve Eury said. "These valuable new products demonstrate the continuing commitment Syngenta has to producing innovations that help growers maximize profits."
