EPA administrator to deliver keynote remarks at ECOS fall meeting

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced today that EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy is scheduled to deliver the keynote remarks at the fall meeting of the Environmental Council of the States (ECOS), which is a nonprofit and non-partisan organization of state environmental agency leaders.

McCarthy’s remarks will touch on the vital nature of the agency’s cooperation with the states when it comes to environmental goals, like protecting vulnerable communities, acting on the climate and improving the way environmental organizations work with the public.

The ECOS Fall Meeting will be held in Newport, Rhode Island, at the Hotel Viking from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
