EPA certifies Cyclone Power Technologies’ Cyclone Engines
"This constitutes a major step in the process to production and allowing our customers in the international community to apply for their countries certifications,” Cyclone President Frankie Fruge said.
Cyclone's all-fuel, clean-tech engines now can be sold and incorporated into generator systems, allowing the company to commercialize its product.
Cyclone already has approached four manufacturers that it will work with to integrate its engines into generator systems, including the 3R and TAW Power Systems, and is continuing with testing procedures to expand integration to other products.
The next tests will be for the integration of the Mark 1 and Mark 3 Cyclone Engines.
The company’s Cyclone Engine also can power solar thermal systems, cars, trucks and even locomotives. It is designed to run on nearly any fuel while reducing greenhouse gas emissions and has high thermal efficiencies.
