Goby earns Energy Star Top Certifier and Partner of the Year distinctions

Goby LLC recently earned the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Energy Star Top Certifier, meaning that it exceeded 150 Energy Star certifications last year, hitting more than double that figure with 346.

"Goby's mission is simple; to help our clients run better buildings,” Goby CEO Chris Happ said. “Our partnership with Energy Star validates that the data we collect for our clients is accurate therefore allowing us to increase the value of their real estate through sustainability and operational efficiency, and assist in earning recognition for their efforts through opportunities such as Energy Star certification."

Goby also was named an Energy Star Partner of the Year for a second year, having achieved that distinction in 2014 as well.

The company has been creating Energy Star buildings for 15 years, and last year included work on Portland, Oregon's Stevens Building, which is listed under the National Register of Historic Places.

The company uses its proprietary SeaSuite technology, which automates data into a single platform for better analytics and experts to create sustainability planning.
