EPA Announces Second Public Comment Period for Additions to Minnesota’s Impaired Waters List

News Release: (CHICAGO—Sept. 1, 2021) - The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has announced a second public comment period for 30 days regarding its inclusion of three additional “waters used for the production of wild rice” that are impaired for sulfate on Minnesota’s Clean Water Act Section 303(d) Impaired Waters List. The 30-day public comment period starts Sept. 1 and ends Oct. 1, 2021.
