Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Gina McCarthy spoke about the Clean Power Plan on Tuesday at the Resources for the Future (RFF) Leadership Forum in Washington.

The plan, which was finalized last week, is the nation’s first to regulate carbon emissions from existing power plants and to put a national limit on carbon pollution. It is expected to protect public health, foster innovation in renewable and clean energy development, and position the U.S. as a leader in the fight against climate change.

The discussion was recorded and can be accessed on the RFF website: http://www.rff.org./live.
